Hi, I’m Madeleine. I used to run operations for a government contracting company, spending hundreds of nights a year in hotels and Airbnbs. Somewhere in all those stays, I saw the opportunity.

The 2025 tax law (the One Big Beautiful Bill Act) restored 100% bonus depreciation for qualifying property acquired after January 19, 2025.
Under current tax law, and combined with the STR tax loophole, short-term rental owners may be able to:
✓Write off big costs like furniture and renovations in year one
✓Use those write-offs to lower taxes on W-2 or 1099 income
✓Keep more cash to reinvest and grow
